The Heavy J Studios business model is a simple one. Want a card? Donate to charity. Cards in the shop typically start around $30 and custom requests can be commissioned for $40 and up.

Heavy J Studios was started in June 2020 by longtime baseball card collector Jason A. Schwartz of Western Springs, IL, with a goal to raise $25,000 during the pandemic. Since that time Heavy J Studios has created more than 750 different cards, nearly all featuring the trademark glitter border look that has earned Jason a unique place in the card art world as the “godfather of glitter.”
