Like many collectors I struggle to throw away my boxes after opening packs. I guess I always imagine A) they’ll be worth money someday, or B) I’ll need them for something. Or maybe I just like them.

My 2019 Panini Diamond Kings box was no exception when I opened it with friends last year. Well, I’m glad I hung onto it since it gave me everything I needed to send a surprise gift to Dan Wallach at the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library.
