Hi, everybody, and a very pleasant good evening to you, wherever you may be!

What a pleasure to add the incomparable Vin Scully to the HJS x efdot “Legends of Dodgertown” series.

And what an even greater pleasure to team up with Los Angeles artist Charles LaBonge on the card. Charles is not only one of my favorite card artists but also a huge Dodger fan, and he was very kind to lend his talents to this card.

As far as the series goes, Scully marks the 10th card and second collaboration, following the “Rocket Man” card with Justin Cousson. As the series winds down, there is at least one more collaboration on the horizon: “High Five” featuring Dusty Baker and Glenn Burke.

I am also looking forward to two other cards coming out in the next week or so:

  • 1985 – En Fuego (Pedro Guerrero)
  • 2020 – El Ponche (Julio Urías)

I am also working on one called “Coach,” but I’ll leave you guessing who that might be.
