Really, it’s a thing. February 1, 2021, or 2-1-21 for short.
There’s poster! (And yes, that’s me in the pink dress shirt.)

There’s even a rap!
And there are tons of Card Artists using the hashtag #nationalcardartday on social media.
The traditions are rather new, but aside from an airing of grievances I think the two main ways to celebrate are–
- Pick up some #CardArt from your favorite artists. Definitely check out the Heavy J Studios shop, but don’t sleep on Blake Jamieson’s Card Art site, other Topps Project 2020 artists like efdot and Gregory Siff, the Matthew Lee Rosen guest shops, and amazing “unsigned” artists like Gummy Arts, Scott Hodges, Garcia Studios, Mark Mosley, and Mr. Shake!
- Make your own cards and share them online. Remember to tag your posts with #nationalcardartday!
Ah, one more thing. There MIGHT even be a National Card Art Day official folk song. Depends what else I have going on tonight.
