One of my favorite pieces so far is the “BO KNOWS” card I did for @BrianAU2000.

Of course before there was that Bo there was this Bo.

Baudilio Jose (Seijas) Diaz was an all-star catcher in 1981 and 1987, not to mention the lead-off man on a key Dale Murphy card.

And by the way, kudos to whatever employee at Topps chose the players for this card. The four would combine for 18 all-star appearances and 65 MLB seasons.

Mr. Diaz was only 37 when he passed away in 1990 in a tragic accident, but his baseball legacy is not forgotten. He is especially revered by his family, including his son and namesake @CoachBoDiaz, who I hope will enjoy this Heavy J Studios “BO SABE BEISBOL” 1/1 made from 1987 Fleer and various 1985 Topps team letters.

The background colors pay tribute to Bo’s native Venezuela, and the caption (in English) reads “BO KNOWS BASEBALL.”
